Dead frond load removed. Structure restored.

Dead fronds aren't debris — they're accumulated weight and fire risk. We calibrate cut depth to species and season so the palm stands on its own terms, not just looks cleaner.

Date palms and ornamentals are not the same cut

Dubai's date palms carry heavier frond loads and respond to pruning at different depths than ornamental species like Washingtonia or Bismarck. Cutting too deep on a date palm stresses the apical meristem — one mistake can halt growth for a full season.

We assess frond condition, pest pressure, and seasonal timing before the first cut. The goal is load reduction without exposing the crown to Dubai's summer heat stress.

Dead skirts below the crown are a known fire and pest harbor in Dubai's dry months. Removal follows the natural abscission point — not an arbitrary height — to preserve the trunk's structural integrity.

Structural change, not a visual makeover

Each image pair shows what changed in the load profile and crown exposure — the structural story, not the aesthetic one.

Your palms carry more load than they should
